Painted Tree - Bandera Volcano Size:8x12 I sat by the pondThis tree was at the side the trail at Ice Cave and Bandera Volcano located on the continental divide in Grants, New Mexico where the Bandera Volcano had erupted between 9,500 and 10,900 years ago. The trees trunks along the trail were like they were painted with the lines on their trunks. This was one of our Harvest Host stops for the night on our travels heading to Arizona.
