The fine, curved bamboo tines of the chasen allow the finely powdered matcha to be thoroughly incorporated into the water and well frothed. This hand carved whisk is prepared by artisan craftsman and is often paired with the bamboo matcha scoop, or "chashaku," used to measure matcha. Made in China.
