The last photo shows two other ribbons that match this one. The ribbon measures 50 mm 2 inches deep . It is sold by the meter in a continuous piece. These ribbons are woven at a few meters per hour on the same jacquard looms in Germany since 1898. Many of the designs are traditional although there are some modern designs to be found as well.
