"Fujinami Clone" Deep Dark Black Japanese Maple Zones 5 9 'Fujinami' is a recent introduction from Japan that was selected for its deep dark red color by Mr. Fujinami as a chance seedling from 'Nomura'. 'Fujinami' has one of the deepest dark red colors of any of the Japanese maples. We received our 'Fujinami' under the name "Fujinami Clone" when we purchased Brian Upchurch's nursery in 2013. We have since realized
