NEW Banshu Hamono Koryū Flower Scissors Dimensions: H 19These scissors are forged from Japanese steel & are traditionally used for Ikebana: the art of Japanese floral arrangement. The blades are set at a slight angle in order to snip the stem without crushing the plant fiber. This allows the flower to absorb more water & live longer. They are incredibly sharp, sturdy, and will last a lifetime. The blacksmith trade in the Banshu region in the Hyogo prefecture began with forging Katana swords around 400
