Yenoh on [EDH] Varina or: How I learned to love discard 7 years ago RobsJourney Crucible of Worlds is really strong with the addition of cycling lands and its very nice being able to discard lands you draw instead of gas, Planar Birth is also really strong for this At the moment the deck is less focused as I want it to be casual but I could see it being made into either token swarm, draw/mill matters or lifegain so if you wanted to focus the deck around cards like Psychic Corrosion you just need to cut cards from other themes, if you do that I think focusing on tokens with the addition of cards like Bident of Thassa, Kindred Discovery , Coastal Piracy, Psychosis Crawler, Patient Rebuilding, Mindcrank, Altar of Dementia, Altar of the Brood, Undead Alchemist would be good I am currently focusing on making the deck more self discard focused because its fun as hell and when else would you use Dark Withering, Cunning Survivor or Spirit Cairnbut the lifegain element has actually been incredibly strong so I am looking at making a lifegain shell with cards like Rhox Faithmender,Sanguine Bond, Necromancer's Covenant, Whip of Erebos fergus23 on Ressurection Chromium 8 years ago Ojutai, Soul of Winter Scalelord Reckoner Silumgar, the Drifting Death Scourge of Nel Toth Retrace cards
The strategy is to quickly discard Archeops so that you can use Summoning Star to summon these Pokemon back into play
