Hitchcock playfully inscribes "To >" [Mrs. Lattimer] "with best wishes Alfred Hitchcock" and then adds the profile, and signs below. Perhaps somewhat ironically, the small card has been enhanced with a small painting of a bird, given Hitch's association with his acclaimed thriller "The Birds". The painting
