To experience the District's overlapping grids and diagonal boulevards and many spaces of commemoration is awe inspiring and undoubtedly confusing. (I think it's best on a bike!) The convergence of rivers and the Tidal Basin allow for picturesque view of the cityscape from the water and Virginia.
