Barbera Passito "Fazzoletto" Piedmonte Size:Bottle (750ml) Harvested early and gently pressedA fleshy and juicy red with aromas of sweet ripe plums and cherries. Around a fifth of ripe Barbera grapes were left on the vine for nearly a month after the main harvest to dry in the sun. These were blended with fresh Barbera grapes before fermentation to add extra oomph to the final wine which can sometimes leave the wine a bit cloying. Here though ripe cherry and wild plum is balanced by fresh bramble juiciness.
