The coiled design prevents if from dragging in the water or getting caught up. The coiled leash is available in two lengths, 4. 0 (M) and 55 (L), to have the perfect size depending on your wing span. The smaller 4. 0 (M) is recommended for wings below 5m and the longer 55 (L) for wings 5m and bigger. The L works fine with all size wings.
