Tate - Spring Street Merlot 2019 (750ml) Pinot Meunier putting more control into theTATE Spring Street Merlot exhibits a dark purple core with a moderate purple rim. The nose has big black plum, red cherry and red licorice with lighter elements of cinnamon and caramel. The wine is so soft and silky on the palate where ripper blueberry pie, brown sugar and cherry compote appear. The tannins are soft and round complemented by some fresh acidity. There is a long finish to this wine which will age wonderfully over the next 8 9 years.
