After the commercial success of A Single Man, Elton, no stranger to the dancefloor, decided in 1979, to embrace the disco boom and record Victim of Love. Recorded with Pete Bellotte and Thor Baldursson Giorgio Moroders right hand men Victim of Love is the only Elton John album in which he had no hand in writing or playing on. It has, of course, become a much loved cult album.
